Upgrade) is excited to announce our latest addition to the abundance
of routes available for MSTS with a remake of 'the old gal', the East
Metro. Originally one of the early routes using default objects and
released in September of 2001, the East Metro was simply a test route
reaching a worldwide audience. It fell into obscurity and was soon
forgotten with new techniques being the preferred method of building
routes. An idea came to revitalize the East Metro last January and
The East Metro Rebuilt includes 3 railroads (i.e. the EMMR,
Lutherlex Corp and Krenshaw). The mainline of the route is
approximately 25 miles in length with over 100 miles of track
including mainline, yards, interchange, spurs and branchline) to
serve over 29 industries including: Intermodal, textile, coal mines,
coal prep, limestone, concrete, grain and lumber (including logging),

The premise of the East Metro is the EMRR is a bridgeline between
two Class A's while having its own localized pickups. Large cities to
smaller towns are represented in a very detailed route selectively
compressed for reasonable run times. The route comes with 26

The East Metro rolling stock by Dick Cowen features a new feature
exclusive to East Metro Rebuilt. We call them reversible cabs.
Because of this the East Metro Rebuilt route is void of any wyes. The
reversible cab allows an engineer to turn around in his seat so as to
run reverse without having to change to any outside views. The cab
controls are visible to the engineer in both directions making
