All Aboard's third release for Railworks is here! The Fort Kent To Eagle Lake route is a 20 mile route featuring small time operations in the northernmost region of Maine (USA) just south of the Canadian border. A mostly single track main stretches between two towns that snakes its way through the country -side paralleling a river offering some of the best picturesque scenery for Railworks to date. Even the makers of Railworks were impressed with this route. Included is 20 scenarios, a manual with schematics and the route includes new visuals such as new terrain textures unique to the Fort Kent To Eagle Lake route. New structures were built and they were built to replicate what's really there. The Fort Kent To Eagle Lake route is a wonderful step forward from the previous two All Aboard routes (Colton & Northern and Rascal & Cottonwood). If you're looking for realism in an American route, the Fort Kent To Eagle Lake route is for you. Compare any section from a birdseye view to satellite images and you'll see the characteristics replicated quite nicely. However, at All Aboard I do feel entertainment must come first and after scouting the history of the route I came upon some reasonable industries that could be added to the route to increase the play value. With Railworks as its foundation, the combination of the Fort Kent To Eagle Lake route will provide endless hours of railroading as if you were there.
