Ohio Rail Returns!

In early 2002, Ohio Rail debuted and it became an instant world-wide classic. 160 miles of track, several branchlines, plentiful industries including steel mills, refinery, lumber mill, logging, etc. etc., large cities and numerious small towns and a dense vegetation giving the route a depth very rarely matched. But that was 2002. Now you can bring back the joy of running the Ohio Rail route with the Ohio Rail Upgrade which transforms the old look into a whole new look. And not just an upgrade either but more of a rebuilding of all the cities and towns and industries. Gone is the impressionistic look, now Ohio Rail with the Ohio Rail Upgrade looks realistic. So running the Ohio Rail Upgrade is really like running a brand new route never before seen. Nothing is recognizeable from the previous version. And with the simple addition of the Ohio Rail Upgrade, you'll find yourself immersed in the 'look' Ohio Rail was originally meant to be. Ohio Rail also comes with seasonal textures like barren trees and barren shrubs in winter. Autumn textures give that sense the weather is changing when railroading in autumn. But seeing is believing so come and see the new Ohio Rail page at All Aboard http://www.edmfamily.com/msts/oh.htm

How does it work you ask? It's simple. First, you take Ohio Rail (Build 10) and install it onto your hard drive if it's not already there. Then install the Ohio Rail Upgrade which takes a whole couple of clicks and then you are done! There are at least 40 activities developed officially for Ohio Rail by myself. Then there's something like another 260 activities that can be found elsewhere. All these activities still work with the inclusion of Ohio Rail Upgrade because the trackwork is still the same. However the signals were removed along the branchlines to make activity creation easier.

With over 20,000 downloads, Ohio Rail made a place for itself in the world-wide MSTS community. Now you can bring this rugged mountain railroading route to your screen with and enjoy the rivalry between the OR&W and the WV&O railroads again. I hope to see you soon, there's work to be done!
