Trainz Service Pack 3 Arrives

Brisbane, Australia: Auran has officially released the highly anticipated Service Pack 3 for their virtual railroad product, Trainz.

The free Service Pack adds loads of functionality as well as new features and bug fixes to the original version.

With enhanced physics, large map support, new content including maps, locomotives and rolling stock, and the addition of SCENARIO support through Trainzscript(tm), Service Pack 3 adds a whole new dimension to train simulation software.

So comprehensive is the update that many users at the Auran official website www.virtualtrainz.com have commented that the extra features included in the Service Pack make Trainz a whole new game.

Auran CEO and Trainz Project Leader, Greg Lane said the Service Pack was specifically designed to extend the capabilities of the current version and to provide a glimpse of what is still to come from the next phase in the overall Trainz project.

"We're continuing to develop Trainz as a long-term project and Service Pack 3 provides a strong base for that development."

"By building some of the basic features of the next phase of Trainz into the current version, we're whetting the appetites of our fans and preparing for some great new features," Greg said.

Trainz Service Pack 3 requires a registered version of Trainz and is available for free download from the Trainz website www.virtualtrainz.com. It can also be ordered on CD via mail order.
