In November this year we will be launching TsPathfinder, which is a program aimed more at train-sim users than route builders. TsPathfinder is a mapping utility for MSTS routes, which will allow you to select a route and generate a map displaying various different types of information. You can choose to generate a map of the entire route, or a map specific to a particular activity and you will be able to overlay information about stations, sidings, gradients, signals, switches etc.
The underlying concept behind TsPathfinder is to provide Train Simulator users with an overview of the route or activity which they are driving, and to help them orient themselves within the Simulator.
A lot of features are already planned for TsPathfinder, including the ability to change the default consists for existing activities, and an integration with TsTools to allow Routebuilders to create activities. We will be publishing a more complete description in the near future. In the meantime I would like to tell you about a special promotion which we are running for advance orders of the program.
We expect to be pricing TsPathfinder at around US$24.99, but if you place an advance order now, we are offering the special price of $19.99. The first release of TsPathfinder is already in the final testing phase, but should we, for any reason, be unable to release the program before the end of November, all advance orders will be refunded in full. We can only currently guarantee this price for orders placed up until the end of September.
If you would like to take advantage of this offer, you can place your advance order now from the following url:
