VMD Release Of The ATSF-BNSF GE B40-8

In time to our 4th birthday we are proud to announce the final release of our Dash 8 tested with TRS2004 SP4. Should work with TRS2006 SP1, too.

We are starting the event with a sneak peak of the ATSF & BNSF pack. This pack includes 4 different locomotives. Each one features a prototypical livery.

The locomotives come with a high detailed cab interiour, which features working controls and movable equipment such as chairs, windshield wipers or opening windows.

The locomotives - as the cabs - are very high detailed. Even the air filters under the chassis or the multiple door hinges and latches have been modeled and crisply stand out!

Turn up your speakers and listen to the rumbling diesel engine and sudden air purges as the diesel locomotive sits in front of you idling. Once you release the brakes and apply power you will hear the brakes being released and the air compressor start to fill the reservoir. With increasing speed you can even hear the whine of the traction motors!

Inside the cab you will find a fully working set of controls. Even the interlocking feature of the dynamic brake lever has been thought of! The fully working ampere meter will help you negotiating the steepest grades. The cab even features a digital speed readout.

A clever numbering system will let you choose from pre-selected roadnumbers (manual numbering is possible, too).
