View Full Version : Who's better? Amtrak or Via?

For once a week I will start polls of diffrent subjects to get an idea of what you guys like. Plus its fun. So what do you think is better Amtrak or Via? I say from what I have seen Via because there trains look a bit more nicer then Amtraks. Im talking mainly bout long distance trains. WEll go ahead!

From the experience of actually riding in an AMTRAK train, and from what ive heard about a car not able top be replaced, i say VIA VIA VIA!!!!

well the US government is to stuck up to give Amtrak the money it needs to get its passenger sevice better!
if the US government will give Amtrak a 6.2 billion daller check then sure they would upgrade, lower costs to ride, get more passenger cars & locomotives!
instead they only give just the amount they need to keep going!


Union Pacific railorad is the the best railroad in the world!
if we want it to stay like that we better pay tribute!
Union Pacifc Railroad has ben around longer then any other MAJOR railroad. UP is the best MIX of all railroad stuff.

PS Then again The Canadian Government made MAJOR cuts to VIA Rails service back in 1991, so who knows maybe that is what Amtrak needs to get back on its feet !!

if Amtrak had the money it needs ( round 5.2 billion ) then they would go uphill then! then Viagra Is Atrocuos ( VIA ) will be in the dumps!!!:D:D LONG LIVE AMERICAN PASSENGER RAIL TRAVEL!
