Hey
I was suffering from withdrawl and chewing my fingernails to the nub waiting for the forums to open back up. now I'm laying on the floor with a severe shock to my system when I opened this thing up.
When will the madness end???? I want my old home back! Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please.

How do you get the administrator to ok it for you to upload images, I can't find an option anywhere to do this. When I post a message it says "Images Ok" next to it, but there is no way that I can see to actually post them.
TIA

I especially like the "Printer-Friendly" option.

Just a touch of off white background might help ease the eye strain
for some of us old farts. Other than that, it looks neat.

I use a similar forum engine on another site and the printer friendly does not work well especially with graphics. We'll have to wait and see how much still works the way we could on the old one.

What's up with the negative numbers for the number of messages listed in each forum? is that how many have to be re-archived? ??? :o
And the dates are all messed up!
I WANT MY SIGNATURE BACK!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh! :'(

Don't get too used to anything yet, as we're not done getting this thing set up. All we did was upgrade the forum software, but it has proven much more difficult than anticipated!

I like the new options but the old design. I wish it had the option that you could get e-mail when a reply was posted.

What! A computer upgrade that does not go as expected. Why, I've never heard of such a thing. I always thought that computers programmed themselves. ;)
Looks great

Frankly, I'm kinda feeling slapped in the face. I had just finished uploading my latest activity mini-tutorial with screengrabs and a link to download the demonstration activity that the screenies were based on, when the forums went down....now it is nowhere to be seen.
I could live with this and chalk it up as a typical problem associated with the forum maintenance but ALL the tutorial posts I've made in the last month are gone!!! what a waste of #%$^&@ time!!!
I realize that those tutorial posts only got replies from other activity writers (which is a vast minority), but if I had signed my name as bedxyz and posted how the Santa Fe RR really sucked I would get about 150 replies to the post...
I'm going to think twice about spending so much time on such a post in the future (if I even bother)

Well I for one like it. On the other hand I'm kinda sad to see the old one go, grew a bit attached i'm afraid. Not the loss of your tutorials though LHW. If I'd had more foresight I woulda saved them myself.

Err... I have a habit if saving things, I see something and I end up clicking File and Save and it saves it as a complete webpage to my 'save' folder, mainly tutorials and threads... I don't know if I have your tutorials, LHW, if I knew exactly what they were about, then I could check to see. Others might have done the same.

I hope you can chalk it up to a funky activity editor :-)
They were an excellent resource to have , and will be miss since you did such a good job on em.
