Hi
The tsection Dat. supplied is smaller than the one that is in place now I have Xtracks 3.1 build4. If I use your file
, then all of the Xtracks routes I have will not run.
What is the alternative?

Hi Mike!

Maybe this is something Craig Scott (who made the Guideways and the train), should answer.
I have not any xtracks route installed, myself yet!
But i think you have to change the tsection Dat, everytime you want to drive xtracks route/maglev route.
Make a copy of the Global folder, before you try it!

Hope you get it to work. Itīs real fun to drive the maglev-train.

the Tsection that comes with the version 2 guideways are for them and the standard track only.. I believe the latest Xtracks
contains the entries for Craigs freeware tracks ,, but i am not sure if this...I do not run Xtracks myself dew to the fact im using Craig's payware Guideways and they are not released yet
to the public...

I'm not sure than 'any' xtracks/global tsection file has entries for the guideway. When the tsection entries for the Casino Express (CE)pack are finalised, they will be forwarded to David Beach for inclusion in the latest global tsection release.

Until then, you cannot run xtracks routes with a standard 'guideway modified' tsection file.

The guideway entries in the new gbl/tsection file will not be compatible with the freeware guideway or any routes made with it.

Basically the original maglev and guideway will be obsolete and discontinued. Contract conditions for the CE pack forbid any further freeware release or updates for my original maglev files.

What I finally did was to swap an original Global for my X-Tracks, & ran you route twice. Just wanted to get the feel in anticipation of your Casino Maglev, which I have ordered. Very interesting, & really whets my appitite for the payware route.
