The cabview for this loco (CSX version, at least) displays Main Reservoir (MR) pressure at 90 psi tops; it should be 140. There is an error in the cvf file which can be easily corrected. Open the file (not with Notepad) and go to the last item in the file, which is titled "BRAKE_PIPE DIGITAL". Change this to "MAIN_RES DIGITAL" (watch the underline) as the BP Digital is already in the file near the beginning. Then change ScaleRange ( 0 120 ) to ( 0 140 ).
Question for an expert: I am "tapering" the throttles to more accurately reflect the power output at each notch but have a problem with the throttle handle movement from notch 1 to 2. (It doesn't.) The guilty numbers are either in the CPN DISPLAY MULTI STATE DISPLAY section and/or the CP HANDLE COMBINED CONTROL section. In the first, how is the "SwitchVal" calculated? In the second, how is the "NumValues" calculated?
I only have this problem with the combined power/dynamic levers, not the throttle itself as in the GP38/SD40 where the dynamic lever is separate. TIA for any help.
