I was wondering if anyone knows the name for the Error Log for MSTS. I am having a crash to desktop problem and the error i get disappears when MSTS crashes so i have no clue what file i am missing. So i need to figure out where the Error Log is located or at least the name of it. If any one can help i would really be thankful!!!!

I as far as I know there is no MSTS Error log. You just got to make a note of the Error at the time of it displaying.

That is not good considering when MSTS crashes it takes the Error with it so you have no time to see it. Anyone have any suggestions ?

What's the last thing you added or changed? Route? Activity? Equipment? Hardware? Underwear?
Details,........(unless it's underwear, please)

Marias 3.1 but it is running fine except for 2 engines and those 2 engines run fine on the other Routes. that is what has me so confused ..i have even removed them engines and the crash still happens..
Edit
Will Conbuilder find errors on engines and wagons ?
The disappearing ones are annoying.
Try this: If it crashes back to desktop without the error apearing, and MSTS is still in the taskbar, hit Ctrl/Alt/del and the error message sometimes shows up.

Try using Route Riter or Route Control to check the route, activities, engines, consists, and rolling stock.

It is a little faster, other than that, RC is quite a bit more powerfull.

Otto:
Just to throw my .02 cents in. I hope Mr.A meant Route Riter is more powerful than Route Control. Route Control is a heck of alot faster if you are in a hurry.

Then don't try to do 7 things at once.
Only women can do that. :-)

Tested ROUTE CONTROL Lite and yes, being simpler than ROUTE RITER it's faster and easier to use. The version I downloaded from the File Library dates back to 2001 and needs to be registered in order to use all it's function, for a fee a presume ?
I think ROUTE RITER does all of what I need and more ! ;-)

Yes, but for what you will probably use it for, I wouldn't.
