Donner Pass Route Problem

It's possible to have this thing ( MSTS ) add-on routes really tick you off. After letting the Donner Pass Route download through the night, 5 hours, I went to load as usual, no problems, ran the bat., no problems, then get ready to run it. Problem! It at first failed to open with this message, "moderntrack0ex.sms, clicked OK, then got "moderntrack5ex.sms, clicked okay, route opened. Then went to run train, error messages with every attempt to run train.Is this a problem Route, it wouldn't seem so given the number of downloads it has. Is there a fix, after that much time invested in download I would really like to run this route.

In addition, when I ran this first through Route Riter it STOP dead with the following, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\Routes\Tiles\-02449778.t, then LOCKs Route Riter up, then only way to close out is to reboot the system.

I have downloaded the route and run it with no problems.I had problems with the new Thames Mersey route and it took 3 attempts to install it before the sim was happy with it.Try changing the ttype file for one of the default ones.

Okay, but can you tell me how one goes about changing the ttype file to a default one? I okay with the basics, but...ttype changes is a new one for me.
