Ok, this may sound stupid seems I have had the game for about as long as it was out. anyways to the questions.

What is the correct way to run a steam engine in MSTS? I have ran a 4-8-2 a couple of times, and other steamers, and I just seem to not understand it, I always go under 30mph. nothing higher.

Also, how many cars could a 4-8-2 pull alone on a route such as the West End route of the old Boston & Maine line?


I plan on doing some B&M Steamers, but I have no clue how to operate one. any Advice given would be thankful.
