Adam

The K-27 is pretty much finished, but I have decided to wait
for MSTS version 2 before I release it. There's only 2 ways to
go with it right now, and that is:

1) Increase the overall size to fit the standard gauge track in
MSTS

2) Leave as is, and tell everyone they need to figure out how to
install and use Xtracks

Both are out of the question. First, I can't see myself devoting
all this time making oversized rolling stock, buildings, ect.
just to have MSTS 2 be released a week before I'm finished.
Second, there are to many people that do not understand route
building, or how to use Xtracks.

So, I'll wait fot MSTS 2, and see if there is narrow gauge track,
and a few other things we've been asking for. If not, I'll scale
up everything, and build a route/buildings/rolling stock for
it.....

Patrick, There are a lot of people making narrow gauge stuff now. DRGWK36 is planning to put the C&TSRR route into narrow gauge in the next few months. Fozzy is making a standard and narrow gauge K-36. Colorado Car and Foundry Group is making narrow gauge cars. Also charlie is making the D&SNGRR route. Patrick I'm not trying to make you release but I would and man other people would like to have that engine to run of Cumbres Pass. Also, you never know if that engine will run in MSTS2 because they might have changed a bunch of settings.

One more thing. I do ALL my narrow gauge car testing on standard gauge track. So you don't have to increase the size.

Patrick, it sure is your right to do as you please.
I only whish to state that using XTracks has become a lot easier as from version 3.0.
There are routes under development and the group Adam is part of seems promising when it comes to rolling stock.
Waiting for MSTS 2 could prove a very long wait and we do not know if anything we do now will be useful (though I hope so considering the work invested in routes and engines).

If you’re pleased with your work why not release it as is and let those that can enjoy and appreciate your work. After all it’s no worse than not releasing it.

Patric, I would like to "Second" Okrasa's words. Since he brought out Version 3.1 of Xtracks, including a text for the "Dummies"......It works absolutely well in MSTS now, and this, on all routes.
Why not team with Fozzy ?
Johan. :-)

I agree with Rio on this one. You never know. The idiots and Microsoft probably don't even know about narrow gauge railroading.

Ermmm Well actually Adam, Kuju Do know about narrow gauge and so I speculate (with reasonable confidence) that it more than likely will be included in MSTS 2..... LOL :)

Other than that, I'd like to see the K-27 released as well... From what I did see of it, it'd look brilliant double heading with a K-36!

Come on Patrick! lets get the D&RGW well stocked.

Best Regards,
Julian (Fozzy The Bear)

Actually I'm sure that at least one person at MS knows of tinkertoy gauge. Bill Gates happens to be a railfan of sorts I have been told and is the reason we have MSTS. So remember whatever Uncle Bill wants he gets.
