Although I am very poor with the locomotive creator, I just have a request. It may seem obvious. The AEM7 was the longtime engine on the NEC. They have the E60, and the Genesis with Superliners (which, I am pretty sure, don't actually fit under the wires), but not the AEM7. Just a suggestion for anyone looking for a project that could be widely used.

Hey the nalw have one in the making but it is coming out in 2012 but i say we need it know not later....

If someone was to ever post something like that about one of my projects I would probably just wipe it from my harddrive and forget about it.

Actually, I just received notice that NALW had to cancel their AEM-7 because of legal issues with ASEA (the manufacturer of the locos) and Amtrak - so it seems that you're free to make your own now.

Personally, I've lost ALL hope of seeing the AEM-7 on Train Simulator before Flight Simulator 2006 comes out... :)

Hi Chuck,
I think we ought to start some really ridiculous rumors.
1 Nels has hired Brittany Spears as a PR agent.
2 Alco is coming back with a new locomotive (C1171), 7,100 HP and weighs 427,400 pounds, NS has ordered 500.
3 UP is selling out to StatesRail.
4 I have been nominated to host the Grammie Awards.

I read some of the posts like this one and the one from the guy who purported to speak for us about the Big Boy update and I wonder if they repealed the controlled substance laws and I missed it....

Somebody took the wings and tail off a 747, put a pantograph on it, and called it the JumboTrain.

BNSF stands for Baltimore, Norfolk & Santa Fe Railroad (after they finish their merger with CSX and NS :) )

Flight Simulator 2008 is coming out in 6 years!

Flight Simulator 2004 is coming out in a YEAR!

For any NaLW member I got a quick quesion. Is the AEM7 going to have its real sound files For the Locomotive and Train Brake etc. or well the be copied from another locomotive ??
