Can't convert my tga fle to ace, help!

I have downloaded the MakeAceInterface.exe program and it works for converting my .bmp file to .ace - But when I try to convert my tga file, for some reason it won't convert to .ace. This is the message that is stated in the grey box:
Usage: MakeACE {in file} {out file} [-trans]

If anyone can help please post it on this forum or email me. Thanks

Are you typing the makeace command correctly and then the
file names the same.....?
And do the files exist in the same directory?


Example : C:\makeace us2gp38col1.bmp us2gp38col1.ace

Example : C:\makeace us2gp38col2.tga us2gp38col2.ace
