Does anybody know how to create these, or restore them after a repaint?

I've just repainted 3DTrains' GP9 and I've lost the tinted windows altogether. I can get them 100% clear - no problem, but just can't get that tinted effect again.

I know there's a bit of a tutorial for PSP7, but I haven't seen one for Photoshop.

Cheers

The window area's alpha is about a 150-150-150 (RGB) value of grey. The darker the color, the more transparent...

Thanks Marc

I'll try that tonight!

PS When are you starting your customising service for the GP9? - I just love this loco!!

But the tinting comes from the colour in the normal layer. If you somehow applied the mask to the main layer it may have removed the colour. Just paint the window area of the main layer the tint colour you want. The alpha layer (which will be a shade of grey) only affects how transparent the glass is, not its colour tint.
