Sorry to bother you all on what is probably a stupid question. I am new to the design side of simulations but as I work on the railways, I would like to see engines in the way they appear on my region so I want to know if someone can point me to a user friendly tutorial to explain how to re-skin something.
All replies greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I would be VERY interested in a tutorial such as that, as I have extra time on my hands since I dont return to school till february and I have paintshop, photoshop etc and would be most willing to share and upload any reskins I do. I would particularly be interested to know (once I learned the basics that is) how to get that dusty weathered look on a dark colored engine (check out the excellently done new CR, PC, and CR restenciled GP9 repaints recently posted to see what I mean) as some of the less recent reskins look too new and dont match each other in shade such as the early conrails GPs versus the SDs for example.

I went and shamelessly saved the whole thing; then went up and saved the creating whatever above that. There's a LOT of stuff packed in these files. :9
