View Full Version : What programs are needed to skin a freight car?

I have a photo of a freight car that I would like to scan and
use to skin a freight car. What programs are now available,
and which will give me the the best quality? Which is the
easiest to use? Thanks,LG1

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. It's a lot cheaper then the full Photoshop program and has all the features needed to do re-skins (except alpha channel editing). I use TGATool2 to edit alphas in MS Paint. Many people use Paint Shop Pro7 which has a 60 day free, full demo. Personally, I found it difficult to use after getting used to Photoshop.
