I know that many European train simmers read this forum, but unfortunately almost everything here is American. So I thought that I'd shamelessly plug some of my European freight car repaints. They can be found at http://www.wendel.nu/msts/. Just click on "Swedish stuff" in the menu.

Here are some examples:

Nice work svante, sorry to see that Europe also struggles with the graffiti problem. I've noticed that a lot of the European offerings for the sim have been passenger equipment, so it's nice to have freight equipment being produced.

Thanks, Savante! I just picked up my set.

One question, though. I have a good deal of Swedish equipment, and even the Swedish version of Marias Pass, but I haven't seen any activities to take advantage of this stuff.

I briely tried my hand at one, but it just "felt" like North American-style railroading with a Swedish flavour. :)

Can you direct me to some authentic-styled activities? For us Swedish-challenged yanks?

I know that I would appreciate it and I'm fairly sure that others would as well.

Svante,

I really like your skins and certainly the Nohab T44. I followed the progress of some of the skins on the swedish forum (i don't understand a word you are writing there but fortunately pictures can say a lot)and i am really impressed. Please keep pushing the european stuff.

Can you give an impression of your present projects? Perhaps a tankcontainer or an european tanker car?

There are some activities using Swedish Marias Pass and the Da and Rc locos at http://hem.netlink.se/~sbe9265/vbkaktiviteter.htm.

But they're in Swedish only.....

A NOHAB T44 1,700 hp diesel belonging to TGOJ (Trafikaktiebolaget Grängesberg-Oxelösund Järnväg), a Swedish railroad, in winter. (One of my repaints of Mats Strid's T44. Sky! Conductor 2 was used for the snow.)

I've been working on some 70's Southern Pacific stuff, including the GP38-2, SD40 and SD45. But some other guy beat me to the SD45s judging from today's uploads at Train-sim.com.

But I'll probably release my repaints anyway some day. I plan on including different road numbers, and both clean and weathered locos in each pack, like I've done with the T44s. Like four different road numbers for each model, and both SP and SSW (Cotton Belt).
