Here's something to watch for when travelling on your newly built route. Found this out last night, although most of you are probably well aware of this. I'm still playing catchup !
When laying track, ensure that you eradicate all blue markers on through-lines. Even though you may have laid track that looks seamless in appearance, don't be fooled! Blue markers indicate a lack of join. I typically found this at the 'active' end of dynamic track sections, where the overlap between it and precut sections was too great. Adjust the length down by using the small adjustment arrows on the right of the Dynamic Track dialog box. Click off the track section; if the blue line disappears, you're in the clear.
Clues to bad track joins include an inability to set Activity paths beyond a certain point, and derails of your single Dash-9 at odd moments in Explore Mode. Ooops..I've learned my lesson the hard way :-)
