Additional Scenery--Corn fields etc

Hey, is there any way to create additional scenery to "plant" such as a square block of corn fields or the likes? The route I am working on would benefit greatly from several corn fields (or beans or wheat or whatever.) How would one go about creating a file that contains this type of scenery? And if it requires a *.3ds file, would someone consider making one?

Oh, a grain elevator would be great , too. Unless there is one I haven't seen.
