View Full Version : White problems? I'm seeing red. More tips. Also, why NOT to copy object files!

I have noticed that there have been many posts about seeing nothing but "a white screen" when loading up a track. There is a very simple answer. FOLLOW THE RGE CREATION HELP-FILE VERY CLOSELY. I have never seen a white screen and I have been very successful loading up my tracks. So if you messed up, open the help-file, and minimize it, so when you complete a step, you can immediately refer to the help section.

Now about that red thing...

Other things that I see make me see red. For example:

-You can see through the buildings, and sometimes even hills! That is just a little annoying.
-On this one track I WAS working on, after I saved, my computer stopped working, and I got one of those stupid error messages. When I attempted to reload the track, I got a whole bunch of database errors (this happened for the first time after I copied a .ref file and the object and texture files for use in my track)

So concerning all of these database complaints, follow my advice and DON'T do anything screwy with the object files! Just wait. Maybe Microsoft will put out a patch (or not...)

Now maybe you won't get those database errors and "white screens." Don't develop eye strain trying to fix your tracks!
