Water? No problem :) Just select the terrain tile you want to fill with water then right click and select toggle water. Then do the same for the other tiles you want to fill. Be advised you might want to set the tile water height there too. Try a negative value such as -8.000000 or whatever you want. This will lower the water so it won't all be flat.

According to Pages 285-286 in my copy of the Sybex book, (which arrived today):
1. Hit F7 so you are in Terrain Texturing Mode.
2. Select the squares that you want at least partially under water, and right-click to display a menu where you can select the "Toggle Water" item.
3. Right-click and select the "Select Water height" item, which lets you enter water heights across the terrain tile. They explain that, if the heights are all the same, the water is flat, otherwise it slopes across the tile. To determine the height you want, move the camera to where you want the water level to be, and use the Y-number in the camera window.
I haven't tried this yet, so let us know how you make out.
