Size of Download: One zip file 37 MB
Size of Installed Route: 105 mb
Fantasy, Prototypical, or Freelance Operations: Freelance -- Uses enough real world operational and location details to make its existence operationally plausible.
Freight or Passenger: Passenger
Era or Genre: Traction around 1960.
Location: New York City
Length of Mainline: Main 4 track line is approximately 2.2 miles.
Length of Branches: Estimated length based upon Activities See Description of Activities below.
Express 1 8-9 miles
Local 1 12-13 miles
Local 2 11-12 miles
Express 2 9-10 miles
Number of Branches: 5
Number of Sidings or Storage Yards: 2 above ground and 3 underground Storage Yards or Sidings.
Mixture of Dual and Single Track: Estimate
4 track 20%
3 track 20%
2 track 58%
1 track 2%
Level of Trackside Detail: 54 Platforms or stations (43 Underground, 7 elevated, 4 Surface level), Signals installed.
Amount of Scenery Completed: Scenery in all 5 above ground locations. 95% in 4 of 5. About 80% where elevated structure is run to keep frame rate from going too low.
FPS Specs, with qualifiers: Route developers computer, Pentium 4, 2.8GHz, 504 MB RAM, 64 MB VRAM-Intel(R) 82845G Graphics Controller
FPS 20-38 in most locations (Sliders up, visibility about 1000) except in one location where express line is elevated. Here, FPS ranges from 6-25 with same slider settings as before.
Sliders must be set down to improve FPS when using express line. Scenery visiblity will decrease depending on slider setting.
This is not, nor can it ever be, a definitive benchmark. That is just not possible. It is just a guideline, some indicator of what the user may be able to expect. However, if you see an FPS
range of 10-30 on a computer which is clearly more robust than yours, expect to get the lower end of that range--maybe even lower.
Activities Provided (Refer to F1 Transit Map provided): Express 1 Begins in above ground storage yard barn. Enters elevated line at 225th St and travels length of line stopping at 16 stations ending underground at South Ferry.
Local 1 Begins underground at Norwood-205th St and continues underground coming above surface for two stations. Last station is New Lots Avenue. Make all 32 stops and end in above ground
storage yard after making last stop at New Lots Ave.
Local 2 Begins elevated at Flatbush Ave-Brooklyn College and continues underground ending at Norwood-205th St. Make all 30 stops.
Express 2 Begins in underground storage. Enters underground at Hunts Point Ave as a downtown rush hour express and becomes a local at 125th St to Grand Central-42nd where it crosses over to the express tracks to Union Square-14th St and becomes a local again ending at the South Ferry Station. Make 15 stops.

URL for More Information and Screenshots: None
Known Problems: Only known problem is reduced frame rates where the line goes elevated from 207th St to 242nd St. User must adjust sliders for better performance in the Express 1 Activity.
One important note about the storage yard between the 225th street and 238th street stations. I used "Dumb Track" for most of the track in the yard. This is not live track. It's just for show.
Wherever you see a railcar stored on the track, don't attempt to switch to that track or your train will derail and you will have to restart the activity.
