I know it has something to do with the paths, but how do I place them.

That happens when you select Begin Passing Path. If you right click on the white with a path opened, you will see a menu. When do you choose this? You use this for your AI trains, or as I call 'em, traffic trains. You should see two. One at the beginning of the passing path, and one at the end. Sometimes you will only get one if the AE can't figure out where the end of the passing path is. I haven't done this stuff in a while but I believe you get an error saying it can't close the path or something. Can't remember exactly.

What's odd about your picture though is its not at a switch. You got me baffled on that one. If you could repost that picture but zoomed out, I'd like to see how you did that.

Hi Rich,
I wonder if it might be the end of the passing point?

There is a switch near it but I just zoomed in to get a better picture.

Beats me.. can't figure the signal being out there in the middle of nowhere either. Could be an intermidiate or whatever you call the things. But I'm thinking maybe there was a switch there at one time and some track changes were made and the little doohickey is leftover from that. Other than that, I'm clueless how it could've got there by its lonesome.

What route did you find this in and where is it? If this passing point indicator is just sitting out there, I think it might cause problems for the route in question.
