editors don't work

everything about my simulator works, exept for the editors.
when i start them up i get a black screen for a second and then is justs stops.
i've read somewhere that is doesn't work under a reslolution of 1024*768, but thats tha case, so that can't be it.
has anyone any idea how to fix this?

Have you tried different resolutions? Also you may have to reinstall the train sim . You can do this without losing all your saved games. I.E. a saved route. When you reinstall click on "reinstall over old files."I've had to reinstall train sim several times when I have had different problems.
