I previously posted this in the general forum with little response so thought maybe one of the activity experts might have some ideas or suggestions.

This is a really great route! There is no need to ever build another HO or N-gauge train layout again. Its all here.
However, When working with the provided activities I found some problems that I wondered if anyone else had found a solution to. I am using build (beta) 8. Didn't see anything else on this in the forum so far.

#1 Couldn't find the freight consist that HMRR-2 asks you to go pickup at the beginning of the activity. I searched not only yard #1, but the whole Hoboken section and none to be found. I believe the missing freight was to be numbered 32785-x according to the manifest. If it is a mistake in the manifest, can one find out what the car numbers should have been and change the manifest accordingly?

#2 I skipped the first pickup and went direct to the HBS Floatbridge and picked up the 6 cars there to return them to the HBS Yard -6 and to Standard Brands spur. When I got the load to the yard, no matter what I did, I could not get the cars to decouple. When I double clicked the coupler it would decouple for a second or so and then recouple. I tried dropping cars in motion with the engine accelerating in opposite direction, tried uncoupling while stopping with engine brake applied, and tried it at a stop. Same problem. I was doing this just South of the Standard Brands spur, attempting to drop car 5 and 6 on Yard track 6. Obviously couldn't begin to finish the activity.

Other than that it is beautiful. Does anyone know of any user generated activities for this route? I found the Sightseer activity, but its pretty sparse with no AI, just a tour?

BTW, absolutely no speed problems on curves or "unusually" jerky motion in any view (except for a periodic swap file burp as the HD takes another bite when a bunch of new objects come into view all of a sudden). <1 ghz AMD, GeForce3, 128 bit., 384 mb RAM, everything maxed in MSTS graphic setup). Pretty slick.[P>Anyway, great fun.

Sincerely

I uploaded new versions to the Activity forum, did you try those?

Thanks loads for the suggestion. No, I didn't notice the previous attachments. I just went and got them and will try them out today.

This is a terrific route, and in fact may just get me off the pot and making some activities of my own.

I'm also anxious to see some activity with some AI traffic outside of the HBS area (where there simply isn't any room for any (at least without signals)). In order to have AI traffic in HBS one would have to have a signal at every single siding in order to control access to the single track down the main street. Doesn't sound very practical to me.

BTW I made a clone of the HMMR orig. activities but with an SW-1500 that has a reverse view, and it really makes the switching activies much easier when reverse pulling or just moving in reverse through the switches.

anyway, Thanks for the assistance.
