Activity Editor Freezes

I'm new to this and therefore have concluded I'm doing something wrong. I need help in figuring out what it is. I've built a small, very simple route and when I go to make an activity, it freezes when I go to place a strating point. Was there something I forgot to do while creating the route?

Nevermind, I figured it out. Apparently you can't have a loop of track.
