Although specified in the cvf, many cabs do not display a wheelslip indication or the alerter reset button. Moving the cursor over the position where the device is located will show the little text tag but no graphic.

In fact I can never recall seeing a wheelslip indication in a cab and cannot get a wheelslip on a diesel. So perhaps this an internal MSTS programming problem.

Or is there an easy fix for one or both problems? TIA

It sounds like you are just missing the graphic file that contains the pictures.

If you are using a cab that uses aliasing, it may be that you do not have the expected file in the 'correct' location. Many cabs will alias the default gp38 slip light or reset button. If you have moved these files from their default location or if you have deleted them then you will get this effect.

Thanks. The reset button was not referenced, but the wheelslip was. Since I get no wheelslip indication in F5 or in the cab, I am thinking that either it isn't programmed in MSTS or possibly the adheasion numbers in the eng file have to be tweaked. Any ideas?

Is there a document out there that explains line-for-line what the values in the eng and cvf file represent? I can figure out some of them, but not all.
