Has anyone encountered problems with the NALW New Haven PA-1 pack engine sounds?

I set my PA's up -- and the engines sounds (inside and out) sound like, well, a Volkswagen with bad valve adjustments.
In the cab, buzzing that increases with throttle. Outside, even louder buzzing.

Never have had sound problems with anything else yet....I didn't modify the files in any way, just used the packed installers.

The engines themselves look fantastic. Just the sound doesn't seem to be working properly for me.

Thanks for any help....

Having the same sort of problems with the NALW genesis series sound as well.....sounds like a cross between a bad Volkswagen and a Cessna. NOT like a GE loco at all.

Inever have any trouble with the sounds of any other units other than the NALW PA's and Genesis.

Several things....
One turn your base up!
Did I remember to say TURN YOUR BASE UP?

Two Alcos and GEs (being cousins through the Cooper-Bessemer design connection and both being 4 cycle engines) Sound like a Maytag Spin Drying a Boot!

The sounds for both came from Andy Hockin.....
The Alco are 251-16 or is it 16-251 sounds
and the Genesis are Andy's generic GE sounds....

No way to turn the bass up on my system so I guess I'm out of luck.
