Wag Sounds, Where are They?

I got a question for you sound guys, maybe you can tell me what's wrong. I'll use this as an example, but I've noticed it with other cars also. I'm running the ESE passenger cars with the TA F7's and I don't hear the sounds for the cars themselves. I hear the engine sounds, outside scenery, traffic noise, crossing gate bells, etc.... So I go back in and switch to the ESE Hudson with the same passenger consist, and the wag sounds are there? What gives? Like I said, I've had the same problem with a few other cars too.

I've checked the wag files and sms files and can't find anything that's obviously wrong. Would it have anything to do with a particular engine? Anyone have a clue?
