I disagree, looks very realistic to me. Maybe you have never been to Pecos Georgi??
My opinion, all this route needs is the T&P E units on a hot passenger train.

Great shots,Plainsman,
I'm curious. On the 3rd shot, with the red and silver SF warbonnets on the head end of your consist, there appears to be a sun flare above the lead cab, kinda like what I used to get through the lens of my 35mm at times.
Are you willing to share how you did this? I'd like to know. It's a great effect.
Nice work -

This route looks magnificent! I am not familiar with this area but shots look very realistic.

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the comments!!
The photo flare effect comes in the photo editor when i resize the shots. If the shadows look appropriate, I sometimes add a photo flare by using Corel Photo House. It offers three different flare choices, as if changing the focal length of the camera.
I think the route designer did a great job on this. I had relatives out on the western part of the Texas & Pacific main, and this route brings back a lot of childhood memories. Some parts also seem to resemble the area out west of Vaughn New Mexico, on the Santa Fe. Evokes a lot of realistic SW US images.
