We'll take another crack at the GM&O on July 30th, 1900 CST start-up with pre-session talk/information starting at 1830. Please use the M-P standard Team Speak servers (see anchored post for information).
Mark-up with your choice of train, please.
Operations will be limited to Eastern Division Lines! No operations west of Roodhouse to keep things easy....All CTC except lines between Bloomington/Iles/Godfrey and Roodhouse (these are the Jack, Air, and Godfrey lines which parallel the Illinois Main Line).
Sim Clock Start time: 0455
Duration: 4 hours (this will mean that the late session trains won't get very far...i.e. #2 and the Northbound Steel Extra...these trains may be annulled if necessary)
Trains available: (Multi-Player Activity pack includes timed AI trains to simulate the meets you'll normally encounter as well as non-GM&O traffic)

Activities are found in the file GMOMPS1.ZIP in the file library. You will need non-default equipment for these consists, however you may create your own consists.
Also note that there will be a full release of the route (ver. 1.75) coming out in the next few days which will include all previous patches, updates, etc. This will replace all previous files on the server which will be deleted to eliminate confusion.
Some special train notes...
#2 is the famous "Red Train", The Alton Limited. Stops only at a small number of stations. Takes priority over ALL trains, ALWAYS holds the main...
#7/#8 "Midnight Special"...overnight mail/express with sleeper car between St. Louis and Chicago... These trains are getting close to their end-terminals during this session...
#9 "The Puddlejumper" (nickname)... gas-electric all-stops local passenger/mail/express Bloomington to Kansas City via Jack Line. This activity has LOTS of AI activity on junction or overhead passes..NO online AI's... In a word, "bucolic"...
#16 "The Plug" GM&O's 3-car "daily ex. Sunday" morning commuter service from Joliet to Chicago Union Station.
Psgr. Extra 880B South is a special all-stops passenger train from Chicago to the Illinois State Fair in Springfield! Train has to be
turned and backed to the station after unloading at Springfield....
#90-series: LONG Freight drags, Glenn Yard (Chicago) to Kansas City and vice-versa...a real challenge to keep them moving at track speed!
Extra trains are coal (loads or empties) or the northbound steel train....
Additional trains (shooters STL to CHI or vice versa, or St. Louis TRRA movements) will be welcome as well as anything IT (Springfield to Venice via GM&O), Wabash on Wabash rails (Springfield area or Lenox-Venice area), etc.
