I am thinking about just going ahead and doing the direct download from EA when KRS is released. Will the US content be released online for free if you already purchased the sim or will you have to pay to download it?

I'll wait until most of the,"I gotta have this route now",fever wears off. The pictures look good but they don't tell the whole story. I'll wait for the feedback then go from there.

Nothing much a payware distributor of games, simulator or other software supplies is FREE, unless they are fixes for problems with them, Microsoft disguises as "New" versions ! ;-)

Yea I know that lol. I was just confused because I read some time ago that the US content would be available as a download. And if it is just one US route I think I would rather download the game first and download the US content later rather than wait over a month.

Hi Brent !

The way I understood recent announcements was that KRS Europe can be downloaded from EA, but did not say from which of their many worldwide branches and what the size of the download will be !

Well I went ahead and ordered it.. I looked up the various times it takes to download games off the EA site, looks like only an hour or so.. I have a pretty good connection.. The EA site says pre-release for 1900 hours tonight so I'll get it installed tongiht and post some screens hopefully. and answer any questions you guys will have :)

Can't find it. I registered as coming from the UK or the USA, if there's a Direct2Drive link there, they sure have it hidden well.

I had to goto the UK EA to find the rail sim.. then click on pre-order and the only option was for 'digital' download .. The odd part about it though was the fact that there was no USA listed in the drop down.. United States outlying island and virgin islands.. So I just used the outlying island.. hope that doesnt cause any problems ....

Well it's up for download now...think I'll wait until I see more reviews before diving into the EU version.
