Questions for Otto...

Otto, I've noticed your default.wag update file, and have downloaded it, but I haven't actually used it yet. Could you tell me what it will do for me?

Also, I don't know if anyone cares, but would it be helpful if the "stable" versions of bin were numbered with the next iteration? For instance, 1.8, and then the "experimental" ones, then the next "stable" version would be 1.9? Might be easier to keep track of than the current 1.7xxxx system...

Hi Bob !

The Default.wag on my web site is the same as the one which comes with the Route Riter, being the result of advice from George, Matt Peddlesden of UK-TS and some changes of my own. So far it has proved to enable reliable front and rear couplers operations with all rolling stock, providing that their files have been amended to Bill Prieger's, Joe Morris' or my coupler parameters and that Bounding boxes are the correct length !

As there is now a group of international MSTSBin Beta testers verifying the stability of to be released patches, every future patch should be a STABLE one ! But as always, there will be some who will find something not working with their patched MSTS and computer set-ups ! ;-)
