I finaly skinned a car not to hard to do at all. This is a CSX 2 bay and yes you see CSX out west. I live out here in CA and i see alot of CSX and NS stuff here
Now i need to figure out how to release this to the public :)

Very nice :) The current preferred method on UKTS seems to be to zip up the folder containing the reskin and simply tell users to place it in the RailVehicles\Freight\ModelName\ folder when they have unzipped it, although of course some users have their own autoinstallers to do the job.

I am done with this. I wish i could have made the numbers white but dont know how yet. Also on these theres normally the wording Rock right where the numbers are so i had to leav it out

now i just need to finger out how to pack these for dl. I will have these on my website for free dl soon so check there if you want one of these cars. I have only trs up at the moment so i need to create a RS dl page today then ill stick these there

so kinda like FSX is ? ok ill make a readme for that so people can easily unzip where it needs to go. Thanks guys for your help i preciate it mucho!!

You can't totally get rid of blueprints.pak, it's supposed to do that. The game (for some strange reason) was not designed to load whatever is in the subfolders, it uses list files that it reads from to display a list of choices. Routes.xml is the master list file that lists which routes you can select, scenarios.bin in each route's main folder lists which scenarios you can choose for that route. Assets are different, instead of appending code to it to update it for what you have, you just delete blueprints.pak and that forces the game to scan the subfolders of the assets (for whichever filter set that blueprints.pak is in, the idea is there are going to be a bunch of them) to see what's in there, build a list, and recreate the blueprints.pak file.
As for why it shows up in the list but not in the physical form I don't know, someone over at UKtrainsim had the same problem with something, give me some time to download this one and check it out.

It is possible i used the add on 2 bay hoppers to skin with. If so you will need the add ons, Orogrande, thorn etc. There are 5 in all and they are free addons. I had others dl them and they showed up fine but they have the addons.

Ahhhhhh....I only had the 2.....Now it works....Thanks Frank :)...Sorry for the trouble

No it was my bad. I never even thought about it. I should have used the default hopper but i liked the gray one for what i needed to do best. I also added a note on my website so people know. Thanks
