I have operated MSTS since the software came out and have accumulated over 600 locomotives and 1,300 pieces of rollingtock. Currently, MSTS takes a considerable long time, say five minutes, to get me from the loading screen to the screen where I can selected a locomotive, activity, etc. I was wondering what I can do to correct this problem. I experimented with installing a virgin copy of the MSTS on my hardrive and this version of MSTS loads very quickly. Therefore, I was wondering if the slowness factor is an inheritant problem with MSTS software and not solely attributed to my computer which is a Dell Dimension 4600
