Hello All,
I have a 19 inch screen.. a widescreen. I could swear that I have heard of people being able to adjust the MSTS screen resolution to 1024x768 when adjusting the display under "options" in the simulator.
If someone can tell me how to get something higher then the 1024x768 resolution, please let me know. I dont know if I missed an update or something. Just trying to achieve better image quality.
Thanks,
Stephen

You video card should be able to support resolution higher than 1024x768. I have a 19" flat Panel LCD and I run both desktop and MSTS at 1280x1024 at 32 bits color.

Hi Stephen,
This monitor has a native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels
so 1024 x 768 is all you are going to get with msts.

Same here w/Radeon HD 3450 (ATI drivers + CCC installed for activation of AA and Anist.) and Envision LCD monitor.

You could run it WINDOWED at 1280x1024 but that's the highest rez I've ever seen anyone run MSTS

No it can't as the panel resolution is 1440 x 900.
I run msts at 1600 x 1200, and there are others that do.

:) ..........I run at 1280 x 1024 x 32 with a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, a 22 inch wide screen, without any problems. One of these days I would like to go larger. Now what I need is to have several monitors, each with a different view, of the same simulation. (One for views 1, 2, 3, and 4 at the least.) Never satisified but that is how progress is made. - Mike :)

Me too with an eVGA GX260-core216 driving a Samsung synchmaster 20" LCD (not widescreen) via DVI interface

Thanks all for the help. I should've posted a shot at first. I could swear I have seen settings able to go higher then those in the shot.. however mine are stopping at 1024x768?
I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS graphics card.
In the shot, I can only go as high as 1024x768?

The gents that are going to 1280 x 1024 are on 4:3 monitors.
19" wide panel is only 1440 x 900, so 1024 x 768 is the top that you can go.
Your memory is of a different monitor.
I have a 17" 4:3 that does 1280 x 1024,
and a 20" 4:3 that does 1600 x 1200.

Oh, I see.
I read the box.. and once again I screwed up. I have a 17'" screen, not a 19". I guess I just dont have the 4:3.. :( Oh well.
