Got most of the trackwork redone at Chicago Junction, still gotta set up gantries and signals.

This was tricky, the way I did it was to split incoming and outgoing tracks, delete everything between, then lay out long overlapping straight sections, splitting those wherever it looked reasonable to tie everything together.

I edited the trackrule for a minimum radius of 70 for the main, 60 yard, 50 passenger, and 40 freight. When I welded the slips I only had to go down to 50 once due to overlapping points and diamonds screwing up the track, most are 70 to 80 radius.

Looks like that at present, less sharp angles and less clutter.

The longer US passenger coaches will take the curves better;

without bending sheet metal as much.

Flipping a coin here, I set up a scenario with a service in each of the six station bays to get a default route set, I think what I'll end up doing is setting all the slip switches to default straight. For many routes that will be wrong, but the problem is if you set a route for one service heading for the desired track, then the other one will be going the wrong way. Ergo, the player will still need to set the route before starting in the generic free roam scenarios.

Very nice, looks much cleaner and less confusing than before. Also the more sweeping curves would be a nice upgrade.
