I shoot screenshots of things I'm working on, assessing how things are going. Occasionally I take one that looks decent enough to share, even if the topic is, like this, a work in progress.
This site is in Emeryville, CA, on the SP's 9th St. Branch (which used to be part of the the SP's Interurban Electric Railway). In 1950 the building shown here was being used by the Marchant Calculator Company as a combination warehouse and assembly factory. The model is patterned after data gleaned from the 1951 Sanborn Fire Insurance maps.
