I'm pretty sure we can do it for the next release; it basically amounts to figuring out how frequently it is repeated across the terrain and exactly how it affects the rendering. Neither should be hard to work out, we just need to get around to actually doing it. :)

Sounds awesome, thanks James. Wasn't it in the previous release though? I know the terrain wasn't as blurry as it is now.

There was code in there to use it but it was neither documented nor could anyone on the team remember why it worked the way it did; I was rewriting the surrounding code and needed to understand it to include it and, at the time, we didn't.
