Hi all,
I just downloaded, installed, ran through Route Riter and then loaded the GT Holly Sub. v.2, along with the GT Holly upgrade by Norm Beveridge. All installed and gets a clean bill of health from RR.
And it works fine, too, until I go to run the route in winter. The ground cover looks like someone took a black-and-white dalmatian skin and stretched it over the ground!
Now, yes, I know about snow terrtex and used route riter to copy the ustargnd.ace file over the two files in the terrtex\snow folder. This works on every other route I've ever modded, but not this one. Is there some number I need to change in some .dat file to make this work? BTW, there are only 2 .ace files in this route's Terrtex folder: microtex.ace and terrain.ace. Ditto, of course, for the snow subfolder. That is, after you've trimmed the route in Route Riter. There were a number of other terrtex .ace files in there, but they turned out to be redundant. Even if you leave all of them in there you still end up with this problem! You'd think with just two files there wouldn't be a problem, but doggone if I can get it to work.
Any light shed on said problem would be highly appreciated!
Cheers,
Dave
