I know I know I know.....they aren't 100% accurate, but given what I have to work with and the need from some road power for the P&LE route, what do you think?

I think they look fantastic, great job :) I know we only have Justin's BNSF GP38-2 to work with so some of the details are going to be wrong for the P&LE like the horns, but other than that, great job :)

Just a little FYI, the 2025 through 2040 were ex Conrail GP38-2's the P&LE received in a three way deal between Conrail, Union Pacific and the P&LE.

The 2057 through 2060 were ex Rock Island GP38-2's that did not have dynamic brakes.
The 2051 through 2056 were purchased new from EMD by the P&LE and did not have dynamic brakes.

Yeah rich I have the numbering system programed for 2025 through 2041 so you will only get an ex-Conrail GP38 so the dynamic brakes will be acurate. The biggest imperfection that bothers me is the low mounted headlight but hey, beggers can't be choosers right:-)? I will be uploading the reskin as soon as I get the okay from Justin.

Excellent work FormD!! Well done!:D
You're right,we definitely need P&LE power.
Now we need some SW1500s' and MP1500s' to go along with those geeps.:)

I'll have to get on that next week. Too bad you have to buy the whole damn route to get the SW1500! And its a Euro route to boot! That doesn't make any sense to me!

Also, can anyone explain to me how to get rid of the shine on the model? I've messed a little with the alpha channel but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I'd like to include a weathered version too.

Alpha channel is indeed the normal way to go about getting rid of the gloss. Black will be flat, white will be pure gloss. Find a middle ground in between for the best results. I'll take a look at the geeps tonight and see whats up. My memory is fuzzy with that engine and its textures.

The route really isn't a euro route per-say. It's kind of a collaboration of fantasy. It's a really nice little route.

Thanks Glenn! As soon as I am able to get Justin Cornell's permission I will be releasing the reskins, but so far I have not been able to get in contact with him. If anyone can reach him, please direct him to this thread. Thank you.

Right now I have 3 P&LE GP38-2s pulling 40 loaded hoppers out of Connelsville on a free roam to wards Pittsburgh. You did a excellent job on the repaints with what was available. I did not realize that the cabs had that much detail and the sound is excellent.
Wasn't there some work being done on a few sw1500's somewhere? Putting a sw1500 in the consist would really ad to the eye candy. The only thing is left is a few U28B's.
I wished I could figure out the repaint/re-skinning under Railworks. I was learning under MSTS with a few of Dick C's reskin kits, but decided to put more time to wards Railworks.
