RD Company selling famous cab

Apparently, RailDriver has decided to sell their famous re-painted ex-UP SD40-2 cab. At a price of $4,900 plus however much you wanna pay to pick it up/have delivered.

Wonder why they're selling it?

8 tons ins rather poor shape sitting on plywood seems like a deal to me.

That would be a huge piece if someone were to place it in their backyard or front if they can't squeeze it to make it to the back. :D

Hmmm, I think the price has lowered a bit since it first went up for sale. Still, $4900 is a bit steep compared to the other cabs I've looked at for sale..and those were mostly more complete (ie, straight off the motor).
