Thanks much for the url for Youngstown history. It is a most interesting read describing well the management greed that finally led to unionization overreacting with their demands after decades of
fiscal abuse and general mistreatment of the workforce. A real catastrophe for all involved.

I remember a train trip and a January night in 1941 when we passed by some open hearth furnaces that were going full blast. What a sight for an eight year old from Minneapolis; it is still burned in my memory.
