Great to see the B&O worked on!
Has anyone done the old Camden Yard area?
Thanks
I download the newest Route-Riter and it works great!
Has anyone had a problem unzipping the sumpter route with route-riter?
I have Win-XP and when it unzips all files wind up in one directory, no sub directories are created?? Have tried it with all...
I've noticed many loco's are coming out composed of multiple shapes. These shapes do not have a *.wag or *.eng file and do not have an entry in the consist file for these extra parts. Some have 4 or...
There is no right or wrong in a godless country. We either live with what we don't like or we craw in a cave.
One could mark a shape in a way no one would know but we could not tell anyone, you...
Its a long story, partially trying to change to XP. I think what happened was I had an Image on CD of Windows and other junk on the C:\ part of one drive, there were other drives partitioned on the...
As is good practice I back up with Norton Ghost. Be careful of terminology of drive and partition. If you restore the root of C:\ and you have your drive divided between other letters. The other...
An Idea, I was pondering what I would prefer as a readme.txt for anything I upload. I believe most of us are just looking for recognition for our hard work. If a lawyer is a member of our Train-Sim...
Have fun with all the streets around there.
Looking foward to seeing it! DSL comes through in May, and dialup dumps me after about 15 megs.
Anyone know what happened to the downloads, the links don't seem to work anymore.
Quite a war with words you all got going on!
Regrettably any programmer worth his salt can reverse engineer a shape, in the first place the barn door was left open when they bundled FFEdit and or...
Where did you download the version with the background shader??
Thanks
Jake
I've been finding quit a few shapes that won't compress no matter what, even from the command line. Errors of some sort in the shape files when compressing with ffedit, but the shapes work in the sim...
I think its great!
There are a lot of uncompressed shapes I have found though. I've been compressing everything I can find. That seems to be why some don't load, they do fine after compressing...
Buying XP made me convert to Linux, I still use Win Me for train-sim. I've heard Win 2000 isn't to bad. Don't know about how well it works with Train-Sim.
Thanks much! Its just backwards from the way I think.
Thanks
Jake
An item of curiosity in engine file 70014.eng in directory RY_BR 70014 has the first coupling listed as a “bar” the second is listed as “automatic”. The tender has the first listed as “automatic” and...
Yes we all definitely noticed that missing inch!
And as far as the paint job there is plenty people on the forum eager to trash your paint job, oh that’s right its called weathering :-)
Thanks, I have a new freeware program I want to upload and that’s one of the last issues left. I’m guessing it’s a formula using HP, Friction, weight kind of thing. Its not probably public knowledge,...
MaxVelocity ( 33.08096 1.00000 )
Can anyone tell me how these 2 numbers are computed?
Con-Builder seems to use a generic MaxVelocity ( 40.00000 1.00000 ) on the consists I have made with it, I'm...
The finished program is to be a cross between Con-Builder, Train Store and graphic Capture-Resize. Has several modes. Make a consist of many cars, start Train-sim with the consist, “Ctrl-Left-Right”...

I talked to Nels a while back about a Forum to discuss Ideas, he asked do we think it would be used. Truthfully I don’t know. I would use it, but I don’t know how many of us there are. Please post...
O t t o
I know the feeling, I save the thumbnails from train-sim page with each shape when I download and use them in some programs I wrote.
