    Default Locomotive Scrap Yards

    Hi everyone-

I was wondering where some locomotive scrap yards or storage facilities might be. Im with the IRM and looking at saving equipment etc. I know the Pielet Bros (or something like that) in McCook IL has been closed for awhile, but are there any others in the chicago or midwest general area?

    Thanks for any help,

AZCON in Duluth, MN does a lot of railroad related scrapping.

Here is a link to a photo someone else took there.

Guys, we are looking for a place where the owners could possibly DONATE a piece of equipment, preferably a locomotive, to the Illinois Railway Musuem.
