RE: SVTS Come here please
I'm not Chris (or SVTS) but, I can help you out a little bit. I think NS, CSX, and Conrail runs on NEC. I hear it's mostly Conrail. I also hear that Amtrak maintains the tracks on the NEC. I have gotten some activities from other people requiring Conrail and NS stocks for NEC (in M$TS). I hope this helps. Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Ken ;-)

RE: SVTS Come here please
Shane, seeing how you have Sandpatch, B&O and Chessie used to run the frieght corridor in the 1980's, while Amtrak ran NEC corridor. Coal trains run by Conrail used the NEC from Anacostia Junction to Bowie Md., where they then turn south off the NEC onto the Popes Creek Sub. Today, CSX does the same, though usually at night, though I have seen them during the day every now and then.
Today, CSX runs intermodel, autoracks, and manifest along the frieght corridor, in addition to the coal trains on the NEC portion. Amtrak runs 118 trains a day out of DC to points north. Vince also included the metro and light rail lines in DC and Baltimore.
NS has run throughs as well to thier sub in Philly, with one or two run at night on the NEC.
So, in a nutshell, B&O, CHessie, NS, Conrail, CSX, and Amtrak will look fine on the NEC 4.0
