MBTAPCC and HTM1022 don't appear in train list
I downloaded the MBTA PCC, and more recently the HTM 1022 pcc car. I followed the usual install procedures/instructions. There are folders for both cars in Trainset directory, and each folder appears to have the necessary files. But neither car appears in the engine list in Explore mode, and neither car appears in the Electric Locomotive list in the Activity Editor. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
You'll find them under PCC in the Train list, Then under consists. That's the locomotive list in the game. Also did you move the consist file to consists?

RE: MBTAPCC and HTM1022 don't appear in train list
Thanks for your reply to my message. I have looked under PCC in the train list, but all that is listed there is the original PCC by Matt Harter, and some consists I made with it. Neither the MBTA repaint or the HTM 1022 are listed. The MBTA repaint had a consist file, but it is the PCCv02.con for the origibnal PCC. I tried to make consiusts in the activity editor, but the two cars don't show up there either. I have more recently downloaded the Vicinal PCC and it was immediately listed in the train list under PCC.

RE: MBTAPCC and HTM1022 don't appear in train list
You need to move the MBTAPCC files called exterior.ace and interior.ace to the folder under trainsets that contains the original Matt Harter PCC files. It will ask you if you wish to overwrite the files that are there. If you answer yes, then you have Matt's PCC car with MBTA paint and you lose Matt's PCC in his original paint. Select the ORIGINAL PCC when you start MSTS and it will be in the new MBTA paint.
You can have both paint jobs to select from but that is another story.

Thank you very much for the response to my question. I do want to have both paint jobs to select from. Can you tell me that other story?

the other storey.
you first open the .eng file in wordpad (or notepad if you have windows 2000 or later). cange the place were it ses
"wagonshape (pcc1.s)" to "wagonshape (pcc_mta.s)"
"Wagon ( PCC1" to "Wagon ( pcc_mta"
"Engine ( PCC1" to "Engine ( pcc_mta"
cange the statment under the "Engine" statment that ses "Wagon ( PCC1 )" to "Wagon ( PCC_mta )"
cange the the statment "Name ( "PCC trolley" )" to "Name ( "mta pcc trolley" )". note: before doing the above steeps you must copy the .s, .sd, and .eng files to a folder named "pcc_mta": end note. now rename the .s file call it "pcc_mta.s". now rename the .eng file
call it "pcc_mta.eng". now open the .sd file in the wordpad or notepad and cange "shape ( pcc1.s" to "shape ( pcc_mta.s".
now move the 2 .ace texture files from the mbta pcc .zip file to the the pcc_mta folder and copy the cabview and sound folders from the pcc1 folder to the pcc_mta folder. now create a consist with conbuilder or the consist editer area of the ae.
